This bungalow style house was built from the ground up and is located on Maple Street in the heart of Fayetteville’s historic Washington-Willow neighborhood. The stone knee walls (that mimic the original stone retaining wall on the property that dates back to about 1930), the size, and the wood siding allow it to fit nicely into the aesthetics of the neighborhood.

The 1375 square-foot house has a trellised front porch with stone knee walls, a large living area with a stone fireplace, an open dining area that links to the kitchen, a breakfast room alcove in a window bay that looks out to the back deck, and a service room and half bath downstairs. The stairs go up from the living area, and windows on the second level pour in natural light down to the first level. Upstairs a shared hall has storage space, connects to the attic, and leads to the full bath where the vanity area is separated from the rest of the bath for added privacy. There are also two large, vaulted ceiling bedrooms with wide closets. Windows on more than one wall in each bedroom allow for plenty of natural light and ventilation, as well as views overlooking Maple Street and other parts of the property.
